This standard has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 196 “Machines for underground mines Safety” (Secretariat: DIN, Germany). The responsible German body involved in its preparation was the Normenausschuss Bergbau (M

5、ining Standards Committee), Technical Committee NA 008-05-08 AA Mobile Maschinen. Representatives of manufacturers and users of equipment and components, and of the responsible authorities contributed to this standard. Amendment of the European Machinery Directive has made it necessary to review the

6、 previously valid standard, EN 1889-2:2003, in terms of the essential requirements of the new European Machinery Directive, 2006/42/EC. This standard contains specifications meeting the essential requirements set out in Annex I of the “Machinery Directive”, Directive 98/37/EC, (valid until 28 Decemb

7、er 2009) and the “revised Machinery Directive”, Directive 2006/42/EC, which takes effect on 29 December 2009, and which apply to machines that are either first placed on the market or commissioned within the EEA. This standard serves to facilitate proof of compliance with the essential requirements

8、of the directives. Once this standard is cited in the Official Journal of the European Union, it is deemed a “harmonized” standard and thus, a manufacturer applying this standard may assume compliance with the requirements of the Machinery Directive (“presumption of conformity”). Amendments This sta

9、ndard differs from DIN EN 1889-2:2003-11 as follows: a) The foreword makes reference to the newly added Annex ZB. b) In clause 7.2 “Marking”, the information relating to the manufacturer has been rendered more precise. c) In clause 7.2 “Marking”, the designation of the machinery has been added. d) H

The machinery concerned and the extent to which hazards, hazardous situations and events are covered are indicated in the s

26、cope of this document. The standard takes into account the current state of the art and technical facilities to use in order to exclude or prevent, as far as possible, hazards when rail locomotives are used underground. When compiling this standard it has been assumed that: components are: a) design

27、ed in accordance with good engineering practice, taking account of expected shocks and vibrations and calculation codes, including all failure modes; b) of sound mechanical and electrical construction; c) made of materials with adequate strength and of suitable quality; and d) free of defects. e) ha

28、rmful materials, such as asbestos are not used; f) components are kept in good repair and working order, so that the required dimensions remain fulfilled despite wear; g) negotiations have taken place between the manufacturer or authorised representative, purchaser and/or user (e.g. for fire resista

29、nt fluids, safety equipment and load restraining devices). DIN EN 1889-2:2009-07 EN 1889-2:2003+A1:2009 (E) 5 1 Scope This European standard specifies the safety requirements and tests for rail locomotives for use in underground mining (i.e. mine locomotives) and other underground workings (e.g. tun

30、nelling locomotives). 1.1 This European standard deals with the technical requirements to minimise the hazards listed in clause 4 which can arise during the commissioning, the operation and the maintenance of locomotives when carried out in accordance with the specifications given by the manufacture

31、r or his authorised representative. 1.2 This European standard does not address the special hazards associated with the rack drive of rack and pinion locomotives. 1.3 This European standard does not deal with radiation and vibration. It does not address remote control locomotives or operation in pot

32、entially explosive atmospheres. Hazards due to noise are excluded from this standard, but a separate standard is in preparation where hazards due to noise will be addressed. 1.4 This European standard applies to locomotives which are manufactured after the date of issue of this standard. 2 Normative
