2、f Defense.PAGE 22.2, following entry for “NATIONAL BUREAU OF STANDARDS“, add the following:“AMERICAN SOCIETY FOR TESTING AND MATERIAL (ASTM)D4673 - Standard Specifications for Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene (ABS) Molding and ExtrusionMaterials.”“(Application for copies should be addressed to the Am

3、erican Society for Testing and Materials, 1916Race Street, Philadelphia, Pa 19103-1187.)“3.4.2, delete and substitute the following:“3.4.2 Shells . Unless otherwise specified (see 3.1), shells shall be plastic in accordance with ASTMD4066, form R or Tm, type PBE, of MIL-P-79; type II of ASTM D787; a

4、 substituted polyarylethermaterial, such as a polysulfone; or acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) in accordance with ASTMD4673.”PAGE 94.6.8, delete and substitute the following:“4.6.8 Vibration (see 3.6.7) . Plugs shall be tested in accordance with method 2005 of MIL-STD-1344.The following details

5、 and exceptions shall apply:a. Method of mounting: Plugs shall be mounted with their longitudinal axis in a horizontal plane.b. Test condition: I.c. Direction of motion: Along the axis of the plug and then perpendicular to the axis of the plug.d. Measurements during vibration: Each plug shall be mon

6、itored for electrical continuity, using atest current of 100 2 milliamperes dc. The vibration test shall be performed on plugs; both unmated (without the mating jack) andmated (with the mat

8、ing jack).g. Mating jack: The applicable mating jack (see table IV) shall have a 3 foot 3 inch length of cord,of the type normally used with the jack, attached and hanging free. The plug shall be inserted intothe mating jack and shall remain inserted through the mated portion of the test.”PAGE 10* 6

With respect to products requiring qualification, awards will be made only forproducts which are, at the time of award of contract, qualified for inclusion in Qualified Products List(QPL-642) whether or not such products have actually been so

The attention ofthe contractors is called to these requirements, and manufacturers are urged to arrange to have theproducts that they propose to offer to the Federal Government tested for qualification in order thatthey may be eligible to be awarded contracts or purchase orders

11、for the products covered by thisspecification. Information pertaining to qualification of these products may be obtained fromDefense Supply Center Columbus, DSCC-VQP, 3990 East Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43216-5000.”The margins of this amendment are marked with an asterisk to indicate where changes

12、from the previousamendment were made. This was done as a convenience only and the Government assumes no liabilitywhatsoever for any inaccuracies in these notations. Bidders and contractors are cautioned to evaluatethe requirements of this document based on the entire content irrespective of the marg
