The individual item requirements shall be in accordance with the applicable specification listed in 2.1, except as spec

12、ified in the requirements drawing and herein. In case of conflict between this drawing and the requirements drawing, the latter shall govern. 3.2 Desiqn, construction. and physical dimensions. The design, construction, and physical dimensions shall be as specified in the applicable specification lis

13、ted in 2.1, except as specified in the requirements drawing and herein. 3.2.1 Desiqn documentation. The design documentation shall be in accordance with the applicable specification listed in 2.1, and unless otherwise specified in the acquisition document, shall be retained by the manufacturer but b

14、e available for review by the contracting activity or contractor upon request. 3.3 Electrical Derformance characteristics. The electrical performance characteristics are as specified in table I and the requirements drawing and apply over the entire operating temperature, unless otherwise specified.

Qualification inspection for connectors specified herein shall not be required. 3.7.1 Qualitv conformance inspection. Quality conformance inspection shall be in ac

19、cordance with the applicable specification listed in 2.1 and 4.3 herein. 3.8 Certification as an approved source of supply. In order to be listed as an approved source of supply for connectors manufactured to this drawing, a manufacturer shall: a. Agree to make available to DSCC, upon request, all p

20、ertinent test data on its production of the subject part. b. Provide to DSCC-VAI or its designated agent, upon request, free of change and without obligation, a current production sample from its production of the subject part. c. Meet one of the following criteria: (1) Currently possess part I list

21、ing on the Qualified Products List for the applicable specification listed in section 2.1, for at least one connector series (not necessarily the one for which the acquisition of this drawing is to apply). (2) Be in current production of the subject part. 3.9 Certificate of compliance. A certificate

22、 of compliance shall be required from a manufacturer in order to be listed as an approved source of supply (see 6.6). 23、-,-,-4. VERIFICATION 4.1 SamDlinq and inspection. Sampling and inspection procedures shall be in accordance with the applicable specification listed in 2.1, except as modified herein. 4.2 Qualification inspection. Qualification inspection for connectors specified herein shall not be required. 4.3 Qu

24、ality conformance inspection. Quality conformance inspection shall be in accordance with the applicable I specification (see 2.1). Groups A and B inspections shall be performed on each inspection lot. Group C shall be performed on a periodic basis in accordance with the applicable specification. Gen

25、eric test data (see 6.4) may be used to satisfy the requirements for group C inspection. Manufacturers shall keep lot records for 3 years (minimum), monitor for compliance to the prescribed procedures, and observe that satisfactory manufacturing conditions and records on lots are maintained for thes

26、e connectors. The records, including as a minimum an attributes summary of all quality conformance inspections conducted on each lot, shall be available for review by customers at all times. 4.4 Group A inspection. Group A inspection shall consist of the tests shown in section 4 of the applicable sp

27、ecification (see 2.1) with values specified in this drawing and the item requirements drawing, as applicable. 4.4.1 Group B inspection. Group B inspection shall consist of the tests shown in section 4 of the applicable specification (see 2.1) with values specified in this drawing and the item requir

28、ements drawing, as applicable. 4.4.2 Grow C inspection. Group C inspection shall consist of the tests shown in section 4 of the applicable specification (see 2.1) with values specified in this drawing and the item requirements drawing, as applicable. 5. PACKAGING 5.1 Packaqing. For acquisition purpo

29、ses, the packaging requirements shall be as specified in the contract or order (see 6.2). When actual packaging of materiel is to be performed by DoD or in- house contractor personnel, these personnel need to contact the responsible packaging activity to ascertain packaging requirements. Packaging r

30、equirements are maintained by the Inventory Control Points packaging activities within the Military Service or Defense Agency, or within the Military Service System Commands. Packaging data retrieval is available from the managing Military Departments or Defense Agencys automated packaging files, CD

31、-ROM products, or by contacting the responsible packaging activity. 6. NOTES 6.1 Intended use. Connectors conforming to this drawing are intended for use when defense specifications do not exist and qualified military connectors that will perform the required function are not available for OEM appli

32、cations. This drawing is intended exclusively to prevent the proliferation of unnecessary duplicate specifications, drawings, and stock catalog listings. When a defense specification exists and the product covered by this drawing has been qualified for listing on the applicable QPL, this drawing wil

33、l be inactivated and will not be used for new design. The qualified product shall be the preferred item for all applications. 6.2 Acquisition requirements. The acquisition document should specify the following: a. Complete PIN (see 1.2). b. Requirements for delivery of one copy of the quality confor

34、mance inspection data pertinent to the connector inspection lot to be supplied with each shipment by the connector manufacturer, if applicable. c. Requirements for certificate of compliance, if applicable. d. Requirements for notification of change of product or process to the contracting activity,

36、Replaceability. Replaceability is determined as follows: a. Connectors covered by this drawing will replace the same generic connectors covered by a contractor-prepared specification or drawing. b. When a QPL source is established, the part numbered connector specified in the requirement drawing wil

37、l be replaced by the connector in the requirement supersession table. 6.4 Generic test data. Generic test data may be used to satisfy the requirements of 4.4.2. Group C generic test data shall be on date codes no more than one year old, with the same material, design, and manufacturing process. The

38、vendor is required to retain the generic data for a period of not less than 36 months from the date of shipment. 6.5 Comments. Comments on this drawing should be directed to DSCC-VAI, P.O. 40、winus. Requirement drawings associated with this drawing, upon their next revision, shall have the CAGE code and the address changed to reflect DSCC. Existing requirements drawing referencing DESC are to be used in the interim.
