8、esubmitted samples havebeen approved (see 4.3.3). 4.5 Inspection equipment.- Except as otherwise provided for by the contract, the contractor shall supply and maintain inspection equipment in accordance with the applicable requirements of MIL-1-45607. - 4.5.1 Government furnished inspection equipmen
9、t.- When the contract provides for Government furnished test equipment, supply and maintenance of test equipment shall be in accordance with the applicable requirements specified in MIL-1-45607. 4.5.2 Contractor furnished inspection equipment. 4.5.2.1 Government design.- Unless otherwise specified i
10、n the contract, all inspection equipment specified by drawing number in specifications or SQAP forming a part of the contract: shall b? supplied by the contractor in accordance with technical data listed ir_ the List of Inspection Docu- ments when provided with the Technical Data Package (TDP). 4.5.
11、2.2 Contractor design.- Ti.- contractor shall provide inspection equipment compatible with the “Test Methods and Procedures“ specified in 4.6 of this Specification and wich the “Component Inspection“ and “Test Facilities“ requirements of MlL-3-13426. 13、ign must be consideredas part of the prescribed product tolerance limit. Thus, concept, construction, materials, dimensions and tolerances used in the design of test equipmnt shall be so selected and.controlled as to insure that the test equipment will reliably indicate acceptability of a product wh
14、ich does not exceed 90% of the prescribed tolerance limit, and permit positive rejection when noneconformng. Construction shall be such as to facilitate routine calibration of test equipment. 4.5.2.3 Inspection equipment design requirements.- 4.5.2.3.1 Orientation.- Orientation in conformance with t
15、he re- quirements of 3.4.i accomplished by using the elevation and cross leveling testing fixture, Drawing D6523553. shown on Drawing D6510966, shall be assembled to the cross leveling fixture. An auxiliary telescope shall be placed on the VIS, and the both directions in the horizontal plane. shall
16、be sighted on a wall target or in a target collimator by moving the fixture gage assembly. Place the perpendicularity gage, shown on Drawing D7646979, in.the dovetail slot of the fixture gage assembly. Place the auxiliary telescope in the “V“ slot and adjust for zero line of sight in the vertical po
17、sition. The fixture gage assembly, *cross leveling fixture shall be leveled with a 10-second level for The auxiliary telescope 4.5.2.3.2 Wall target.- A calibrated wall target capable of measuring and providing the angular mechanical accuracies of the mount shall be located approximately fifty feet
18、from the elevation and cross leveling fixture. (a) The tsget: shall contain a “O“ horizontal line of sight, with the elevation and depression images positioned in the same vertical plane with the O“ horizontal line of sight. the lines of sight of the elevation and depression target images shall be e
19、stablished in mils at elevation and depression settings of +ZOO, i-1000, -200 and -800. The angular position of (b) The wall target shall contain a calibrated vertical image line (plumb line) for measuring travel accuracy of the elevation test fixture prior to performing accuracy tests of the telesc
20、ope mount. The wall tar- get shall also contain calibrated displacement marks with respect to the vertical image line (plumb line) for measuring plumb travel. Tolerance marks shall be incorporated on both sides of this vertical plumb line to conform with the tolerances specified In 3.6.1 and 3.6.2.
21、(c) The perpendicularity gage shall be positioned in the slot of the elevation fixture that is perpendicular to its axis. A collimating telescope of approximately six-power with a suitable cross line reticle shall be utilized. outside diameter within 10 seconds. Provisions shall be made to permit pl
22、umbing the recicle within 10 seconds and for maintaining this accuracy with respect to the perpendicularity gage and with the target. Positioning the collimating telescope in the Vee slot of the perpendicularity gage will establish a line of sight through thne tel- scape mounting sleeve. The reticle

24、he temperature conditions specified in 3.3.1, utiliz.ing testing equip- ment in accordance with the “Test Facilities“ requirements of MIL-F-13926.
