ESSENTIAL ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS 1.1 SABS 1200 GB has hee

As the docunlentation noially used by quantity swyors and architects does not provide for the use of a project specification, provision has been made in SAIS 1200 GB for essential ?dditional requkements to LW given on t

7、he drawings or in the descriptive column of the schedule,hill dquantities. Consequently, thc requirements given in the “essential clauses“ sd out in Subclause 1.1 of Section G and which are relevant to work covered by SABS 1200 GB, are dedt with in Clause 2 below. 2. 9、ement for strength concrete, schedule the type of cement that is to Lx used in the various parts of the building(s). b) (Subclause 3.4) State which, if any, of the local aggregates that do not conply wlth the rquirements of SABS 1083“, or aggregates from other sources (such as coarse aggregate deriv

10、ed from air-coolI blastfurnace slag) that are not covered by SABS 1083“, will be accepted. (See also Section G.) ADDITIONAL CLAUSES 3.1 GENERAL. Where it is necessary to amplify or otherwise to vary the tenus of SABS 1200 GB to render them suitab

15、le for use in projects to be camed out in particular locations or under particular circumstances, proceed as follows: a) Where the work is covered by a civil engineering contract, include in the project specification suitable clauses based on the vlevant of those recommended in Clauses 1-3 of Sectmn
