It is identical to ISO 5172:2006, incorporating amendments 1:2012 and 2:2015. It supersedes BS EN I

4、SO 5172:2006+A1:2012, which is withdrawn.BSI, as a member of CEN, is obliged to publish EN ISO 5172:2006+A1:2012 as a British Standard. However, attention is drawn to the fact that during the development of this European Standard, the UK voted against its approval as a European Standard.At formal vo

5、te stage, the UK committee requested that the requirement for recommended pressure settings in Clause 10 include measurements in both MPa and bar to better reflect UK national practice. This request was not accepted, resulting in the UK committees negative vote with respect to this standard.The requ

6、irement in Clause 10 is to provide recommended pressure settings in kilopascals. In practice, UK users could also provide recommended pressure settings in bar.The start and finish of text introduced or altered by amendment is indicated in the text by tags. Tags indicating changes to ISO text carry t

7、he number of the ISO amendment.
