21、 laser diode, or othercontrolled light source) which erases or discharges a staticimage charge on the photoconductor according to informa-tion being supplied through the input data stream. Each bit ofdata can be related to a character shape in the memory of theprinting system, and in most cases char

22、acters are formed bya dot matrix method similar in concept to that of the matrixprinter. Paper can be sheet- or roll-fed or continuous form.electrosensitive printera nonimpact printing device em-ploying a double layer coated paper. Imaging is accom-plished by touching or nearly touching the paper su
