Lip opening pressure is related to a standard air flow occurring between the lip and a test mandrel when air is applied to on

Deviations from the requirements of this standard shall have been agreed upon. Such requirements shall be specified on component drawings, test certificates, reports, etc. 4.2 Ins

9、tructions. 4.2.1 When both seal lip opening pressure and free lip diameter measurements are to be taken consecutively, diameter shall be measured first to avoid errors due to deformation of the materials. For accurate results, lip opening pressure measurements shall not be repeated on the same seal
