Foreword This European Telecommunication Standard (ETS) has been produced by the Special Mo
19、bile Group (SMG) Technical Committee of the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI). This ETS defines the physical channels of the radio sub-system required to support the logical channels used within the Digital cellular telecommunications system (Phase 2). The contents of this ETS a
20、re subject to continuing work within SMG and may change following formal SMG approval. Should SMG modify the contents of this ETS it will then be re-submitted for approval by ETSI with an identifying change of release date and an increase in version number as follows: Version 4.x.y where: 4 indicate
21、s GSM Phase 2 x the second digit is incremented for all changes of substance, .e. technical enhancements, corrections, updates, etc. y the third digit is incremented when editorial only changes have been incorporated in the specification. It includes a description of the logical channels and the definition of frequency hopping, TDMA
