REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Inter
17、face and physical dimensions. See figure 1 and table I. 3.2 Material. Material shall be as specified in table I. Beryllium copper shall be in accordance with ASTM-B194. Steel shall be in accordance with ASTM-A366/A366M (NOTE: Stainless steel in accordance with SAE AMS 5517J (UNS C30100) may be used
18、in lieu of steel). For configurations A, B, D, and E, the material thickness shall be .008 .002 inch (0.20 0.05 mm). For configurations C and F, the material thickness shall be .005 .001 inch (0.13 0.03 mm). Parts constructed of BH material (see table I) shall have an additional one-quarter heat tre
19、at in accordance with ASTM-B194. 3.3 Finish. Card holders constructed of beryllium copper or steel shall be finished with either cadmium plate in accordance with SAE AMS-QQ-P-416, type II, class 2 or nickel plate in accordance with SAE AMS-QQ-N-290, class 1, grade G (bright). Card holders with a cad
20、mium plated finish shall include a suffix “C” and card holders with a nickel plated finish shall include a suffix “N” (see 1.2). Card holders constructed of stainless steel shall be passivated in accordance with ASTM-A967 (Nitric 2). No finish suffix is needed for passivated stainless steel card hol
21、ders and the finish suffix in the PIN shall be left blank. 3.4 DSCC certificate of compliance. A certificate of compliance shall be submitted to DSCC-VAC by each manufacturer desiring to be listed as a suggested source of supply (see 6.7). The certificate shall state that the manufacturers product m
22、eets all the requirements of this drawing. 3.4.1 Optional statement of compliance in lieu of testing. The acquiring activity, at its discretion, may accept from the manufacturer a statement of compliance in lieu of the manufacturer performing the inspection of product for delivery tests (see 4.1.2 a
23、nd 6.2.c). 3.5 Marking. Marking of the card holder is not required; however, each unit package shall be marked in accordance with MIL-STD-1285 and include the PIN as specified herein (see 1.2), the manufacturers name or Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code, and date lot codes. 3.6 Recycled,
24、recovered, or environmentally preferable materials. Recycled, recovered, or environmentally preferable materials should be used to the maximum extent possible provided that the material meets or exceeds the operational and maintenance requirements, and promotes economically advantageous life cycle c
