20、lements the general information specified in DIN 18299, clause 0. Without this information, a specification of works as required in 7 ff., 7 EU ff. or 7 VS ff. of VOB/A (DIN 1960) cannot be properly drawn up. This information does not form part of the contract. The specification of works shall, in p

21、articular, include the following information as and when applicable. 0.1 Site information No information is required supplementary to that specified in DIN 18299, subclause 0.1. 0.2 Details of execution of work 0.2.1 Type, design, materials, loadbearing capacity, location, number and dimensions of f

22、looring units. 0.2.2 Type, location, number, dimensions and condition of curved or otherwise specially shaped surfaces. 0.2.3 Any special requirements regarding dimensions or loadbearing capacity of cast units. 32、uded in the specifications of this standard 0.3.1 If specifications are to be made that are not included in the specifications of this standard, they shall be described separately and clearly in the specification of works. 0.3.2 Such specifications may be of particular relevance in: subclause 3.1.2,

33、 if tolerances other than specified are to be complied with, subclause 3.1.4, if the surface of cast stone is required to be not simply “ground” but “polished” (i.e. ground, stopped and reground), subclause 3.3.2, if slabs measuring more than 50 cm 75 cm are not to be bedded in mortar, subclause 3.4

34、.3, if wall cladding units are not to be positioned flush and plumb, subclause 3.6.2, if flooring units are to be placed on a mortar bed of a thickness other than specified, subclause 3.7.2, if flooring units are to be laid with joint widths other than specified, subclause 3.7.3, if bed joints and v

35、ertical joints for claddings, steps, etc. are to have widths other than specified, subclause 3.7.4, if grey cement mortar is not to be used for pointing, subclause 3.7.6, if joints are not to be grouted by slurry sealing, subclause 3.7.7, if joints between bays and connecting joints are not to remai

36、n unfilled. 0.4 Details of associated tasks and special tasks No details are required supplementary to those specified in DIN 18299, subclause 0.4. 0.5 Accounting of works In the specification of works, accounting of works shall be based on the following: 0.5.1 Area (m2), accounted for separately ac

37、cording to type of construction and dimensions: flooring units, cladding units, units of special shape, surface treatment after placement. DIN 18333:2016-09 7 0.5.2 Length (m), accounted for separately according to type of construction and dimensions: cornices, mouldings, plinths, angle beads, round

38、ed arrises, steps and stair strings, window sills, coping stones, surrounds, units of special shape, joints, skew cuts, worked terminal stones or string courses, drips, fitting of insulating strip, trimming of excess flanking strip. 0.5.3 Number of items, accounted for separately according to type o

39、f construction and dimensions: units of special shape (e.g. refuse storage chambers), window sills (internal and external), steps and stair strings, steps of stepped skirtings, sloping plinths, worked terminal stones or string courses, window surrounds, door surrounds, columns, piers and pilasters,

40、provision of recesses for penetrations, fitting of dowels; installation of balusters, gullies, etc., mitring. DIN 18333:2016-09 8 1 Scope 1.1 This standard deals with the working of concrete surfaces and the fitting or installation of cast stone in and at buildings. 1.2 This standard does not cover:

41、 the dry jointing of sett and slab pavements (see DIN 18318), the production of concrete elements (see DIN 18331), curtain walling comprising slabs with a nominal thickness of up to 30 mm on a secondary frame (see DIN 18351). 1.3 DIN 18299, clauses 1 to 5 shall also apply. In cases where the specifi

44、oncrete from the same mix undergoing different production processes are permitted. The same applies to natural colour variations occurring in one and the same type of aggregate. DIN 18333:2016-09 9 3 Execution of work The specifications of DIN 18299, clause 3 shall be supplemented as follows. 3.1 Ge

45、neral 3.1.1 The contractor shall express any reservations he may have as a result of checks performed (see VOB/B (DIN 1961), 4, clause 3), in particular with regard to: any discrepancies between the conditions on site and those declared in the specifications, the condition of the base/background, if

46、 this is unsuitable (e.g. obvious soiling, efflorescence, cracks, surfaces that are too smooth, too damp, oily or frozen; when placing cast stone on insulation, the loadbearing layer if missing or insufficiently strong), any inadequate level of base/background, any missing or inadequate fall of outd

47、oor surfaces, any surface irregularities in the base/background exceeding the tolerances specified in DIN 18202, inclement weather conditions (see subclause 3.1.2), any missing datums. 3.1.2 Where work is to be carried out in inclement weather, measures are to be taken to prevent damage occurring, i

48、n consultation with the client. Examples of such weather conditions include temperatures below 5 C for placement of units or when working with mortar. The work involved counts as a special task (see subclause 4.2.3). 3.1.3 Deviations from the dimensions specified are permitted subject to the tolerances specified in DIN 18202 being complied with. Surface irregularities, visible in glancing light, are permitted subject to the tolerances specified in DIN 18202 being complied with. If surfaces are required to con
