2、de von 1 bis 250 mm Gewindedurchmesser; Kernquerschnitte, Span- nungsquerschnitte und Steigungswinkel This Standard includes the root cross-sections, tensile stress cross-sections and pitch angles of all coarse screw threads according to DIN 13 Part 1, and of fine screw threads according to DIN 13 P
3、art 2 to Part 11 up to 250 mm screw thread diameter. Dimensions in mm The root cross-sections, tensile stress cross-sections and pitch angles of the bolt thread are used for the calcu- lation of the stability and durability of screwed connec- tions, together with other operating variables. The follo
4、wing formulae apply to the calculation: Root cross-section: Adg = - di x 4 Tensile stress cross-section: As=-* SC (d2 - i d3) = 0,785 . (d - 0,9382 . P) 4 P d2 . x Pitch angle: tan = - The nominal dimensions fordl andda have been inserted in the formulae for the calculation of the numerical values a
5、ppearing in the Tables. The numerical values for Ad, and A, have been rounded off according to the numberof places of the whole number. The pitch angle tan has been rounded off to 2 places. If the nut of a screwed connection subjected- to tension is stronger than the bolt, then the fracture in the c
6、ase of overstressing will occur in that portion of the screw thread which is not screwed in and which is subjected to tensile stress, under plastic deformation of the bolt. As a general rule, this applies in cases where the screw thread is not abnormally fine (d/P 5 S), where nuts with lengths of sc
7、rew thread engagement 10.6 d are used, and where the width across flats (or the outside diameter) is I 1.45 - d, and also where the bolt material is ductile (steel, copper, copper-zinc alloys). The tension applying to the tensile stress cross-section As of the bolt corresponds under the above-mentio
8、ned conditions to the tensile stress on an unthreaded rod of cross-section A,. In the case of brittle materials, the capacity of a screwed connection to withstand tensile stresses under the same above-mentioned conditions must be assessed with the aid of the root cross-section Adg , taking the notch
9、 effect into account. In many cases the alternating stress which is at the extreme limit of tolerability by the screwed connection concerned is also related to the root cross-section and is specified under the heading of fatigue strength or fatigue durability, Continued on pages 2 to 10 Sole rale ri
