B.S.lSS0. Bolts 2nd nuts for aircraft (general clauses). 1 W per cent nickel-chromium-polybdenurn steel (

3、55/65 tonf/sq in). 2% per cent nickel-chromium-molybdeniim steel (55/65 tonf/sq in). Carbon-molybdenurn steel (wire only for the manufacture of forged bolts). Manganese-molybdenum steel (55/65 tod,lsq in). 40 carbon steel bright bars for machining (55/65 tonf/sq in). 1 per cent chromium steel (55/65

All finished bolts, after the application of the anti- corrosion coating shall conform to the dimensions and tolerances given in Tables 1 and 2. b. The runout of thread shall be as dened in SBAC publication R.S. 678.* c. The nominal length

7、of the bolt shall be the bearing length L. *Obtainable from Society of British Aerospace Companies, 29, King Street, St. Jamess, London, S.W.1. SCREW THREADS 5. The bolts shall have Unified threads of the form specified in B.S. 1580, Part 3 and shall conform to the Class 3A limits and tolerances spe

8、cified therein. . ANTI-CORROSION TREATMENT 6. Ail finished bolts shall be coated with cadmium. INSPECTION PROCEDURE 7.
