Scope1.1 This specification covers preformed flexible elastomeric cellular thermal in
3、sulation in sheet and tubular form. Grade 1covers materials to be used on commercial or industrial systems with operating temperatures from -183 to 104C -297 to 220F,Grade 2 covers material used on industrial systems with operating temperatures from -183 to 175C -297 to 350F, and Grade3 covers mater
4、ial used on industrial systems with operating temperatures from -183 to 120C -297 to 250F where halogens arenot permitted.1.2 The values stated in either SI units or inch-pound units are to be regarded separately as standard. The values stated in eachsystem may not be exact equivalents; therefore, e
5、ach system shall be used independently of the other. Combining values from thetwo systems may result in non-conformance with the standard.1.3 This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use. 20、er, or a mixture of the two, and containingother polymers, other chemicals, or both, which is permitted to be modified by organic or inorganic additives. These foams haveproperties similar to those of vulcanized rubber, namely, (1) the ability to be converted from a thermoplastic to a thermosettings
21、tate by cross-linking (vulcanization) and (2) the ability to recover substantially its original shape when strained or elongated.3.2.2 flexible cellulara flexible cellular organic polymeric material shall not rupture within 60 s when a specimen 200 by 25by 25 mm 8 by 1 by 1 in. is bent around a 25-m
