1、- MIL-R-L62 7q U 9999906 0240587 T U MIL-R-81462(AS) 1 November 1972 MI LITARY SPEC IF I CAT I ON RADIO SET AWSRC-40 DIGITAL DATA TRANSMITTER TERMINAL This specification has been approved by the Naval Air Systems Command, Department of the Navy 1 .o SCOPE 1.1 hereinafter referred to as the AWSRC-40,
2、 shall provide simultaneous UHF/FSK transmission of the CAINS Alignment and Waypoint data to aircraft equipped with nk-4A airborne equipment equivalent to the AWASW-25WB or AWASW-27B. The AWSRC-40 shall also be capable of transmitting the ACLS data link signal as a single-channel transmitter. Messag
3、es transmitted by the AN/SRC-40*are of the UHF/FSK type as defined by message standards of WR-28 and this specification. 1.2 or similar equipment providing the proper input time-division data link messages. The transmitter and frequency synthesizer modules utilized in this equipment are inter- chang
4、eable with the assemblies from the SM-51 l/ASW. The receiver module utilized in the equipment is interchangeable with the AWASW-25 receiver module. Service Conditions - The AN/SRC- shall operate satisfactorily under 3.3.10.1 MIL-E-16400,excepte maximum frequency of vibration shall be 33 Hz. 14、ting of 3 shocks in opposite directions along each of 3 perpendicular axes, with each shock impulse having a time duration of 11 f 1 milliseconds, The “G“ value shall be within f 10% when measured using a 0.2 to 250 Hz filter, and the maximum “GI shall occur at approximately 5-1/2 milliseconds. The
15、unit shall be operational after test. 3.3.10.3 Temperature - The AN/SRC-40 shall be capable of notmal operation, as specified herein, when subjected to the temperature cycle requirements of MIL- E-1 6400. 3.3,10.4 test of MIL-E-16400. Humidity - The AWSRC-40 shall be capable of meeting the humidity

The capability to remotely energize and deenergire the AWSRC-40 shall also be provided, 3.3.12.1 circuits and overload protection shall meet the req
19、uirements of MIL-E-16400, Fuses shall not be utilized. 3.3.13 in MI L-E-16400 with no external cooling provisions. Primary Power Circuits and Overload Protection - The primary power Cooling - The AWSRC-40 shall operate within the ranges established 3.4 Performance - The performance of the equipment
20、shall be as set forth below, Unless otherwise specified, these specifications shall apply under both standard and extreme service conditions. 23、AN/ASW-25A/B or AN/ASW-27B will allow automatic Alignment and Waypoint data insertion for the on-board inertial navi- gation systems. 3.5.1.1.1 Transmitter Duty Cycle - (1) In the CAI NS Transmission Mode, the primary and secondary trans- mitters shall transmit a continuous wave (CW) carrier. Data l
24、ink messages shall be transmitted at a rate of one message every 16 milliseconds in accordance with AR-57, (2) In the ACLS Mode, the transmitter carrier shall alternately be turned on for 14 milliseconds and off FJr 18 milliseconds, The AN/SRC-40 shall also be capable of operating as an All Weather
