1、A-A-51 3 27 31 December 1985 COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION CONNECTOR, SURGICAL TUBING TRAIGHT, PLASTIC The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this commercial item description in preference to Military Specification MIL-C-37908 dated 7 December 1978. The connector shall be fabric

2、ated of rigid transparent or translucent plastic and meet the requirements of the current USP for Class II plastic. parts per million extractable barium, calcium and lead. connector shall be capable of autoclaving - at 275 for 20 minutes without distortion or embrittlement. The connector shall have

3、no more than 5 The The connector shall be a straight, tapered tube measuring 3-112 + 1/2 inches in length, and shall have serrations for providing leakproof connection at each end for flexible tubing sized 3/16, 114, 5/16, 3/8, and 7/16 inch inside diameter. Workmanshie. The connector shall be exami

4、ned or symmetry of the tapered ends. The channel of the connector shall be examined for smoothness and obstructions to fluid flow, free from defects which detract from its appearance or impair its serviceability . The connector shall be - Unit;. Package (PG). One package containing fifty individual

Except as otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the contractor may use his own or any facilities suitable for the perfor

7、mance of the inspection requirements specified herein, unless disapproved by the Government. The Government reserves the right to perzorm any of the inspections set forth in the specification where such inspections are deemed necessary to assure supplies and services conform to prescribed Zequiremen

Records of examinations and tests performed by or for the contractor shall be maintained by the contractor and made available to the Government upon the Governments request, at any time, or from time to time, during the performance of the contract and for a period of three years after delivery o
