This drawing covers the general requirements and tests for radio frequency adapters between series and w

4、ithin series. 1.2 Part or Identifying Number (PIN). The design, construction, and physical dimensions shall be as specified in MIL-PRF-55339 or MIL-DTL-27434 (as applicable) except as specified in the requirements drawing and herein. The design documentation shall be in accordance with MIL-PRF-55339 or MIL-DTL-27434 (as applicable) and, unless otherwise specified in the acquisition document, shall be retained by the manufacturer but be available for review

17、 by the contracting activity or contractor upon request. 3.3 Electrical performance characteristics. The electrical performance characteristics are as specified in table II and the requirements drawing, and apply over the entire operating temperature, unless otherwise specified. 3.4 Marking. Marking

18、 shall be in accordance with MIL-PRF-55339 except the PIN shall be in accordance with 1.2 herein. 3.5 Quality assurance requirements. Adapters furnished under this drawing shall have been subjected to, and passed all the requirements, tests, and inspections detailed herein including quality conforma

Qualification inspection for adapters specified herein shall not be required. 3.7.1 Conform

21、ance inspection. Conformance inspection shall be in accordance with MIL-PRF-55339 and 4.3 herein. 3.8 Certification as an approved source of supply. In order to be listed as an approved source of supply for connectors manufactured to DSCC drawings, a manufacturer shall: a. Agree to make available to

22、 DSCC, upon request, all pertinent test data on its production of the subject part. b. Provide to DSCC-VAI or its designated agent, upon request, free of change and without obligation, a current production sample from its production of the subject part. c. Meet one of the following criteria: (1) Cur

24、90 A REVD PAGE4 3.9 Certificate of compliance. A certificate of compliance shall be required from a manufacturer in order to be listed as an approved source of supply (see 6.6). 25、. QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS 4.1 Sampling and inspection. Sampling and inspection procedures shall be in accordance with MIL-PRF-55339, except as modified herein. 4.2 Qualification inspection. Qualification inspection for adapters specified herein shall not be required. 4.3 Conformance inspection.

26、 Conformance inspection shall be in accordance with MIL-PRF-55339. Groups A and B inspections shall be performed on each inspection lot. Group C shall be performed on a periodic basis in accordance with MIL-PRF-55339. Generic test data (see 6.4) may be used to satisfy the requirements for group C in

27、spection. Manufacturers shall keep lot records for 3 years minimum, monitor for compliance to the prescribed procedures, and observe that satisfactory manufacturing conditions and records on lots are maintained for these connectors. The records, including as a minimum an attributes summary of all co

28、nformance inspections conducted on each lot, shall be available for review by customers at all times. 4.4 Group A inspection. Group A inspection shall consist of the tests shown in table III of MIL-PRF-55339 with values specified in this drawing and the item requirements drawing, as applicable. 4.4.

29、1 Group B inspection. Group B inspection shall consist of the tests shown in table V of MIL-PRF-55339 with values specified in this drawing and the item requirements drawing, as applicable. 4.4.2 Group C inspection. Group C inspection shall consist of the tests shown in table VII of MIL-PRF-55339, w

30、ith values specified in this drawing and the item requirements drawing, as applicable. 5. PACKAGING 5.1 Packaging requirements. The requirements for packaging shall be in accordance with MIL-PRF-55339. 6. NOTES 6.1 Intended use. Adapters conforming to this drawing are intended for use when defense s

31、pecifications do not exist and qualified military adapters that will perform the required function are not available for OEM applications. This drawing is intended exclusively to prevent the proliferation of unnecessary duplicate specifications, drawings, and stock catalog listings. When a defense s

32、pecification exists and the product covered by this drawing has been qualified for listing on QPL-55339, this drawing will be inactivated and will not be used for new design. The QPL-55339 product shall be the preferred item for all applications. 6.2 Acquisition requirements. The acquisition documen

33、t should specify the following: a. Complete PIN (see 1.2). b. Requirements for delivery of one copy of the quality conformance inspection data pertinent to the adapter inspection lot to be supplied with each shipment by the adapter manufacturer, if applicable. c. Requirements for certificate of comp

34、liance, if applicable. d. Requirements for notification of change of product or process to the contracting activity, if applicable. e. Requirements for packaging and packing. f. Replaceability is determined as follows: a. Adapters covered by DSCC drawings will replace the same generic adapters covered by a contract

36、or-prepared specification or drawing. b. When a QPL source is established, the PIN connector specified in the requirement drawing will be replaced by the adapter in the requirement drawing supersession table. 6.4 Generic test data. Generic test data may be used to satisfy the requirements of 4.4.2.

37、Group C generic test data shall be on date codes no more than one year old, with the same material, design, and manufacturing process. The vendor is required to retain the generic data for a period of not less than 36 months from the date of shipment. 6.5 Comments. Comments on this drawing should be
