DIN EN 1332-1:2009 is part of a series of stan
5、dards, under the general title “Identification card systems Man-machine interface”. Machine readable cards facilitate the provision of a growing variety of services across Europe. The purpose of the EN 1332 series of standards is to increase the accessibility of these services for the benefit of con
6、sumers. DIN EN 1332-1 specifies the design principles for the user interface (including symbols) to be incorporated into design of card-operated equipment, but not the machine operations associated with the selection and delivery of goods or services. Amendments This standard differs from DIN EN 133
7、2-1:2000-01 and DIN EN 1332-1/A1:2007-08 as follows: a) The standard has been brought in line with the state of the art. b) The terms “readability” (3.1.11) and “status information” (3.1.12) have been deleted and a new clause 5 “Goals of the user interface” has been included. c) Annex A containing s
8、ymbols and their associated descriptions has been added. 19、rsonal identification, electronic signature and cards and their related systems and operations”, the secretariat of which is held by AFNOR. This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by January
20、2010, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by January 2010.
