It is thethird edition of CSA C22.2 No. 107.314 and the fifth edition of UL 1778. This edition of CSA C22.2 No.107.314 supersedes the previous edition published in 2005 and 2

33、003. This edition of UL 1778supersedes the previous editions published in 2005, 2003, 1994, and 1989.This harmonized Standard was prepared by CSA Group and Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL). Theefforts and support of the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) and Electro-FederationCa

34、nada (EFC) are gratefully acknowledged. The Standard is intended to be used in conjunction with theapplicable requirements of CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 60950-1-07 and UL 60950-1, second edition, which isreferred to in this Standard as the Reference Document (RD). 46、rd applies to UNINTERRUPTIBLE POWER SYSTEMS (UPS). The primary function of the UPS for thisStandard is to ensure continuity of an alternating power source. The UNINTERRUPTIBLE POWER SYSTEM may alsoserve to improve the quality of the power source by keeping it within specified characteristics. ThisSt

47、andard is applicable to movable, stationary, fixed, and built-in UPS for distribution systems up to 600 Va.c. This equipment is designed to be installed in accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code, Part I,CSA C22.1, or the National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70, and, unless otherwise identified,

48、 theStandard for the Protection of Electronic Computer Data-Processing Equipment, ANSI/NFPA 75.This Standard specifies requirements intended to ensure safety for the OPERATOR and, where specificallystated, for SERVICE PERSONNEL.This Standard is intended to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or
