3、ation covers inner rings for needle rollerbearings with drawn outer rings.1.2 The inner rings specified in this specification are in-tended for use on unhardened shafts in conjunction with openend needle roller bearings shown on Specification F 2162 andMS52141.1.3 The use of recycled materials that

4、meet the requirementsof the applicable material specification without jeopardizingthe intended use of the item is encouraged.1.4 The inner rings specified in this specification are notintended for use in flight-critical systems of aircraft.1.5 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded

Materials and Manufacture5.1 Bearing inner rings shall be manufactured of steel, alloyor carbon, carburizing grade 4620, 4720,

15、 8620, 8720, or 1018,1022, or 1117 in accordance with SAE AHS STD-66 or SAEE52100 in accordance with SAE J-404.6. Other Requirements6.1 Heat Treatment:6.1.1 Steel 4620, 4720, 8620, 8720, 1018, 1022, and 1117shall be case hardened to Rockwell HRC58-65, in accordancewith Test Methods E18. Case depth s

16、hall be 0.020 minimum.6.1.2 Steel SAE 52100 shall be through hardened to Rock-well HRC58-65, in accordance with Test Methods E18.6.2 Protective Coating:6.2.1 Unless specified, plain (that is, not plated) inner ringsshall be furnished.6.2.2 Manufacturer shall coat inner rings with rust-preventative f

17、ilm.6.3 Lubrication:6.3.1 Oil hole(s), number (1 to 4) and size optional.6.3.2 An oil grove, centered in the inner ring bore, isoptional in accordance with manufacturers standard practice.7. Dimensions, Mass, and Permissible Variations7.1 Products manufactured in accordance with this specifi-cation

18、shall meet the requirements shown in Table 1.7.1.1 Given the shaft diameter and radial load for a particu-lar bearing application, the bore diameter of the inner ring isselected from the shaft size. The outer diameter and width arechosen by dimensionally mating the inner ring with the outerring (see

The radii orchamfers on the inner diameter of the ring may be unequal.Where the radii are unequal, the surface with the larger reliefshould be mounted against the shaft shou

27、lder.8. Workmanship, Finish and Appearance8.1 Surface FinishThe raceway (outside diameter) sur-face shall have a maximum surface roughness in accordancewith ASME B46.1 of 20 in. Ra.9. Inspection9.1 Inspection of the product shall be agreed upon betweenthe purchaser and the supplier as part of the pu

28、rchase contract.10. Rejection and Rehearing10.1 Products that fail to conform to the requirements of thisspecification may be rejected. Rejection should be reported tothe producer or supplier promptly and in writing. In case ofdissatisfaction with the results of the test, the producer orsupplier may

29、 make claim for rehearing.11. Certification11.1 When specified in the purchase order or contract, thepurchaser shall be furnished certification that samples repre-senting each lot have been either tested or inspected as directedin this specification and the requirements have been met. Whenspecified

30、in the purchase order or contract, a report of the testresults shall be furnished.12. Product Marking12.1 Marking shall consist of the part number and themanufacturers identification in accordance with MIL-STD130.12.2 On inner rings where the inside diameter relief radii arenot equal, the marking sh

31、all appear on the surface with thelesser radius.12.3 The part number shall consist of the MS17130 desig-nation number plus the dash number (see Table 1).13.
