The mast mounting shall be in accord- ance with _eA_ Top ssembly TA13208E4154 and as specified herein. 3.1.1 Drawings. The drawings forming a part of this specification are end product drawings. No deviation from

9、 the prescribed dimensions or tolerances is permissible without prior approval of the contracting officer. Any data (e.9. shop drawings, layouts, flow sheets, processing procedures, etc.) prepared by the supplier or obtained from a vendor to support fabrication and manufacture of the pro- duction it

10、em shall be made available, upon request, for inspection by the contracting officer or his designated rep resent at i ve. The identification mark- ings shall be in accordance with MIL-STD-130. 3.3 Treatment and painting. The mast mounting shall be cleaned, treated, and painted in accordance with MIL-T-704, color

12、 34087. 3.4 Material. Material shall be as specified herein and on the applicable drawings. 13、UALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS 4.1 Responsibility for inspection. Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements as specified herein. Except as otherwise specified in the contract or order, the supplier may us

14、e his own or any other facilities suitable for the perform- ance of the inspection requirements specified herein, unless disapproved by the Government. The Government reserves the right to perform any of the inspections set forth in the specification where such inspections are deemed necessary to as

15、sure supplies and services conform to prescribed requirements. 4.1.1 Component and material inspection. The supplier is responsible for insuring that components and materials used are manufactured, examined, and tested in accordance with referenced specifications and standards. 4.1.2 Acceptability c

16、riteria. Mast mountings which conform to all requirements in sections 3 and 5 of this specifi.cation and pass all applicable examinations and tests in section 4 of this specification will be considered acceptable by the Government. 4.2 Classification of inspection. Inspection shall be classified as

17、follows: (a) Quality conformance inspection (see 4.3). (b) Inspection of preparation for delivery (see 4.5). 4.3 Quality conformance inspection. 4.3.1 Sampling, Sampling for examination and tests shall be in accordance with MIL-STD-105, inspection level S-2. AQL shall be 10 percent defective. 4.3.2

18、Examination, Samples selected in accordance with 4.3.1 shall be examined as specified in 4.4.1. 4 Provided by IHSNot for ResaleNo reproduction or networking permitted without license from IHS-,-,-be tested as specified in 4.4.2. 4.4 Inspection procedure. 4.4.1 Examination. The mast mounting shall be

19、 examined for the following defects: 3 101. Dimensions not as specified. 102. Parts or components misalined. 103. Materials not as specified. 104. Treatment and painting not as specified. 105. Identification markings missing or illegible. 106. Workmanship not as specified. 4.4.2 Test. Install the ma

20、st mounting in a jig which will accommodate the bottom end and hold the mast mounting in a vertical position. Install a 1/2 inch flat washer; install a 1/2-13 UNC-28 nut fully on the threads and tighten to a torque of 500 inch-pounds on each threaded screw to simulate installing and removing a flood

21、light. Remove the nut. Repeat the procedure five times. Damage to the screw or threads, or any deformation or breakage, or inability of the threads to be fully engaged when torque is applied shall constitute failure of this test. 4.5 Inspection of preparation for delivery. 4.5.1 Quality conformance

The mast mounting shall be packed in the quantities specified (see

23、6.2) to assure carrier ac- ceptance and safe delivery to des-tination at lowest rates in containers complying with Uniform Freight Classification rU 1 es or National Motor Freight Classification rules. 5.3 Marking. Packages and shipping containers shall be 2 marked in accordance with MIL-STD-129. 6.

24、 NOTES 6.1 Intended use. The mast mounting is intended to be I used to mount three floodlights on a telescoping mast. 6.2 Ordering data. Procurement documents should specify the following: (a) Title, number, and date of his specification. (b) Level of preservation and packaging and level (c) Quantit
