17、part which generally is chosen to be the best of its kind, also known asbest-in-class.NOTE: In computing, performance benchmarking is to run a suite of tests comprising prescribed testcases, so as to assess the relative performance of an object.3.6 READABILITY (also known as Resolution, Scale Divisi

18、on, Scale Interval, Increment or Digit) Thesmallest change in mass that corresponds to a change in displayed value. In other words, this is theamount that the scale will increment by as weight is added or removed.3.7 SOUND PRESSURE LEVEL Ten times the logarithm to the base 10 of the ratio of the squ

21、ere specific test conditions are stated elsewhere and where it is clear that there is a significantimpact on the results of the test, the tests shall be conducted under the most unfavorable normaloperating conditions in accordance with manufacturers specification, including, but not limited to: Elec

22、trical (voltage, frequency); Environmental (temperature, humidity, air movement); Computational (CPU, GPU, VPU); Airflow (vent, fan speed, filter); Orientations (standing, mounting); Modes of operation (boost, gaming); and Configuration (hardware, software).NOTE: In order to determine the most unfav

23、orable test conditions, the test may be repeated with differentcombinations.The test conditions under which the most unfavorable results are produced shall be recorded anddocumented.Unless otherwise specified, accuracy, traceability of calibration, and other aspects pertaining tomeasurement of physi

24、cal quantities shall refer to the documents in Section 2, Normative References, asfar as relevant and applicable.5 Free Dust Accumulation Test5.1 IntroductionA low concentration of dust is injected into a dust accumulation chamber at intervals, allowing dust to buildup on surfaces of the device unde

25、r test. The mean dust accumulation rate is set at constant and the linearaverage air velocity is maintained at a negligible level so as not to impede finer dust particles fromaccumulation. The temperature inside the dust deposition chamber is set slightly higher than that of theambient temperature i

27、wing characteristics: It shall be large enough so that the linear average air velocity resulting from the fluidpressure of the dust diffusor is negligible.NOTE: A linear average air velocity not exceeding 0.2 m/s is considered negligible. This may beachieved if the dust diffusor is located at a suff

28、icient height. It shall be made so that the test dust will uniformly fall onto the device under test. Theuniformity is to be measured by placing nine suitable sample plates, including one at the centerwhere the device under test is to be placed. The measured mass of dust accumulation on eachsample p

29、late shall be 40 6 g after the test of 5.3.3.NOTE: The test dust mass of 40 g is to simulate the total mass of dust accumulation in asheltered or closed indoor environment for a period of three years in accordance with Class7S1 of IEC 60721-3-7:2002 (dust sedimentation of 1.5 mg/(m2h).Inside the cha

30、mber: The supporting surface on which the test dust is accumulated shall be electrically-conductiveand grounded to reduce the build-up of electrostatic charge. The relative humidity shall not exceed 25%.NOTE: This humidity level may be achieved by raising the chamber air temperature.NOTE: An example
