2、 has authorized the use of this commercial item description. This commercial item description covers.three classes of wooden wedges suitable for interproximal wedging of teeth. Class 1,2,3 Salient characteristics: Material. The wedges shall be constructed of sycamore wood, which shall resist wetting

3、, splintering, and breaking. Description. The dental wedges shall be suitable for interproximal wedging of teeth and shall provide for a contouring contact in dental restorative procedures. The wedges shall be of such design as to provide support for holding bands tightly against the tooth. curved w

4、ith concave sides, rounded tip, and a square (non-operative) end to provide ease of placement. The design of the wedges shall conform to Figure 1. Wedges shall have a smooth finish. the requirements specified in Table 1 for the class specified. The average height of the wedges at blunt end shall be

Unit . Class 1 and Class 2 - Set (SE). One wedge set, as specified,

7、 constitutes one unit. Class 3 - Package (PG). One package containing 400 wedges, as specified, constitutes one unit. Quality Assurance Provisions. - Responsibility for inspection. Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the contractor is responsible for the performance of all

8、inspection requirements as specified herein. Except as otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the contractor may use his own or any facilities suitable for the performance of the inspection requirements specified herein, unless disapproved by the Government reserves reserves the righ

Unless otherwise specified, sampling for examination shall be conducted at inspection level II, AQL 2.5, and

13、 sampling for tests (when applicable) shall be conducted at inspection level S-1, AQL 1.0. Contractor certification. The contractor shall certify that the product offered meets the salient characteristics of this description and conforms to the producers own drawings, specifications, standardi, assu
