This comercial item description covers one type of opticians pliers to be used for gripping the spectacle frames when making adjustment

2、s or repairs. Sal ient character ist ics : Shall conform to the design and dimensions as shown on Figure 1, Shall have a replaceable jaw made of phenolic or hard fiber having nominal Shore hardness of 80 durometer. Shall be made of tool steel type 1040 series, nickel plated or chromium plated over n

3、ickel base throughout with scratch brush finish at the bottan halves of. the handles. Hardness of the metal jaw shall be C4 to C45 Rockwell or better. The pliers shall be the box lock type with no looseness between the two halves of the pliers in the open or closed position, The pliers shall be perm

4、anently marked with manufacturers name or logo. Workmanshi _?_Qi or mpair i s serviceability. The pliers shall be free from defects which detract from its appearance - Untt. Each (EA).
