This document (EN 958:2017) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 136 “Sports, playground and other recreatio
6、nal facilities and equipment”, Working Group WG 5 “Mountaineering and climbing equipment” (Secretariat: DIN, Germany). The responsible German body involved in its preparation was DIN-Normenausschuss Sport- und Freizeitgert (DIN Standards Committee Sports Equipment), Working Committee NA 112-04-05 AA
7、 “Mountaineering equipment”. Where this standard has been identified by the Ausschuss fr Produktsicherheit (German Committee for Product Safety) and reference to it has been published in the Gemeinsames Ministerialblatt (German Joint Ministerial Gazette) by the Bundesanstalt fr Arbeitsschutz und Arb
8、eitsmedizin (BAuA) (German Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health), it is to be presumed that energy absorbing systems for use in kletterssteig (via ferrata) climbing which comply with this standard fulfil the relevant health and safety requirements. 10、 not less than 40 kg (total weight without equipment) and no more than 120 kg (total weight including the equipment); b) additional design requirements for the arm and overall lengths have been included; c) in 4.2, the maximum braking length has been changed to 2 200 mm; d) in Clauses 6 and 7, the r
11、equirements of 40 kg and 120 kg have been included; e) in 4.3.3, a fatigue test has been added.
