5、1)polybutene (PB) sockets and caps as in DIN 16831-5 for thermo-compression socket welding to polybutene pipes as in DIN 16968 and DIN 16969. DIN 16831-3:2003-05 3 3 Dimensions and designation 3.1 General The designs shown in figures 1 and 2 are for illustrative purposes only; however, the dimensions shall be as in table 1. Tolerances shall be as specified in DIN 16901, corresponding to tolerance c

14、 mean inside diameter is calculated as the arithmetic mean of two measurements taken at right angles to each other on the same plane, at the socket base or mouth. cOvality is the difference between the greatest and smallest inside diameter, measured on the same plane. dFor types A and B, where d is

15、63 mm or less, t1= 0,3 d + 8,5 mm. For type A, where d is 75 mm or more, t = 0,2 d + 15 mm. For type B, where d is 75 mm or more, t = 0,3 d + 8,5 mm. eType A is for peeled pipe ends; type B is for unpeeled pipe ends, in accordance with the fitting manufacturers instructions. 16、Marking Marking shall include the minimum details given in table 2, and shall be printed or stamped on fittings so as to remain legible throughout their service life. NOTE The manufacturer shall not be liable if marking becomes illegible as a result of installation procedures, or of cleaning, or if

17、fittings are painted, scratched or masked. Marking shall not cause any cracking or other damage which could affect the serviceability of the assemblies. If marking is printed on the assemblies, its colour shall be set off clearly against the background. Table 2 Required marking details Detail Mark N
