29、OSI 4 7Testpiece 7.1 Usuallythetestpieceistestedwhole.Ifthisisnotpossible,thetestpiecemaybecutorbrokenintosmaller partstofacilitatethevariousoperations.Itisoftenmostappropriatetotestonlyacriticalsectionofacomponent. 7.2 Ifthetestpiecehasamasslessthan5ganumberoftestpiecesshallbetestedtogethertoobtain

Continuethevacuumtreatmentuntilnofurtherbubblesappearonthesurfaceoftheoil. Restorethepressureinthevacuumchambertothatoftheambientatmosphere.Allowthetestpie

38、cetoremain submergedintheoilforaperiodof10min. NOTE1 Forthemajorityofporousmetalsasinglevacuumtreatmentissufficientforensuringfullimpregnation.Insome casesasecondvacuumtreatmentisnecessarytoachievefullimpregnation.Thiscanbeestablishedbyreducingthepressure asecondtime,andifnofurtherairbubblesappear,i
