Einleitung Ausgangslage und Problemstellung Ein prgendes Element des industriellen Wettbe-werbs ist gegenwrtig die zunehmende Turbulenz des wettbewerblichen Umfelds. Sie erfordert von den Unternehmen ein ebenso

16、 hohes Ma an opera-tiver wie strategischer und struktureller Vernde-rungsfhigkeit, was im Allgemeinen als Wand-lungsfhigkeit“ bezeichnet wird. Die gezielte Pla-nung und Steuerung der Wandlungsfhigkeit wird zu einem wettbewerblichen Erfolgsfaktor und muss durch das strategische Management zweckmig en

17、twickelt und gestaltet werden. Das Ausma dieser Fhigkeit wird fr produzie-rende Unternehmen in erster Linie durch die Aus-gestaltung und das Management ihrer Produktions-systeme bestimmt. Zunehmend sind Produktions-systeme, die gegenber Vernderungen wie Preis- und Nachfrageschwankungen, nderung der

Konzepte, die eine praxisorientierte Beschreibung der Wand-lungsfhigkeit eines Produktionssystems zulassen, beispielsweise in Form spezifischer Kennzahlen, existieren bislang aber nur vereinzelt. 20、ion The increasing turbulence of the competitive envi-ronment is currently a striking element of industrial competition. It requires an equally high degree of operative as well as structural and strategic ability to change, what is commonly referred to as adapta-bility. The goal-oriented planning an

21、d control of this adaptability is, thus, becoming a success factor in competitiveness and needs to be purposefully developed and designed by strategic management. For manufacturing companies the scope of this ability is primarily determined by the form taken by and management of their production sys

22、tems. There is an increasing demand for production sys-tems which are “robust” which respect to changes such as price and demand fluctuations, change in the regulatory framework or the introduction of technological or organizational innovations. At the same time, it is necessary to continuously moni

23、tor adaptability throughout all life cycle phas-es of the production system in order to be able to identify undesirable developments in good time and take the appropriate countermeasures. Con-cepts which allow a practice-oriented description of the adaptability of a production system, e.g. in the fo

26、t von Konzept und Vorgehensweise anhand ausge-whlter Praxisbeispiele aus der Medizintechnik. Die Richtlinie bietet eine Grundlage fr die ver-bindliche, zielorientierte Regelung von internen und externen Geschftsbeziehungen jeglicher Art, die zur Planung und Steuerung wandlungsfhiger Produktionssyste

27、me notwendig sind. Weiterhin ermglicht sie einen objektiven Leistungsvergleich der Wandlungsfhigkeit von verschiedenen Pro-duktionssystemen oder Teilen davon im Sinne ei-nes internen oder externen Benchmarking. Anmerkung: Benchmarking“ wird hier als kontinuierliche, systematische Bewertung der Leist

Objective This standard offers information about a) the development of a concept for the formal description of the adaptability of manufactur-ing companies b) specification of a procedure based on this

29、for measuring adaptability, and also c) representation of the applicability of concept and procedure with the aid of selected practical ex-amples from medical technology. This standard provides a basis for the mandatory, goal-oriented regulation of internal and external business relationships of any

30、 kind which are neces-sary for the planning and control of adaptable pro-duction systems. Furthermore it makes it possible to carry out an objective performance comparison of the adaptability of different production systems or parts thereof, in the sense of an internal or exter-nal benchmarking proc

31、ess. Note: “Benchmarking” is here understood to be the continu-ous, systematic evaluation of the efficiency of a system as compared with a different (reference) system; cf. Sie wurde am Beispiel der Medizin-technikbranche erarbeitet. 1 Scope This standard addresses all production managers in manufacturing companies. Mandatory requirements can be laid down on the basis

35、 of the standard re-garding the description and definition of specific target variables in the form of indicators, which are relevant to the planning and control of adaptable production systems. It serves in particular for the harmonization of terminology and the creation of a language regime which

36、are both necessary for a uniform description of the adaptability of manufac-turing companies and also for establishing the spe-cific metrics for its practical registration. In its principle this standard is applicable to all forms of industrial production and to the areas supporting it (e.g. service
