16、perties sufficient to warrant their use with fire doors having a rating of 3, 1-1/2,1, 3/4 hour, or 20 minutes when tested in accordance with the Standard for Fire Tests of Door Assemblies,UL 10B, or the Standard for Positive Pressure Fire Tests of Door Assemblies, UL 10C. 24、 the Standard for Fire Testsof Door Assemblies, UL 10B, the Standard for Positive Pressure Fire Tests of Door Assemblies, UL 10C,or the Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators, ANSI A17.1, when tested in accordance with theprovisions of these standards, are considered to comply with these requireme

27、r side).5.2 Small cracks or voids remaining after grinding welds smooth, on exposed surfaces of a frame, can berepaired by means of applying an industrial type autobody filler. The thickness of repair shall not exceed1/8 inch (3.175 mm) at the deepest point.5.3 To maintain frame rigidity during ship

28、ment, frames may have spreader bars tack welded across thebottom portion of the frame.6 Frame Types6.1 Single-unit type, pressed-steel frames for walls at least 2 inches (50.8 mm) thick6.1.1 Single-unit type, pressed-steel frames for walls at least 2 inches (50.8 mm) thick shall consist ofhead and j

29、amb pieces, hinge reinforcements, closer reinforcement, a strike-plate reinforcement whenintended for installation with single-swing doors, and base and wall anchors. For a pair of doors, acoordinator reinforcement shall be included if necessary.6.1.2 The wall anchors provided shall be adjustable or

30、 fixed masonry anchors, bolts with expansionshells, channel clips, Z clips, wood-stud anchors, or steel stud anchors.6.1.3 The head and jamb pieces shall be constructed, as shown by Figure 6.1, of steel or stainless steelnot lighter than No. 16 nor heavier than No. 12 gage for the door-opening sizes
