5、 2016-06 Superseding AMS4045K Aluminum Alloy Sheet and Plate 5.6Zn - 2.5Mg - 1.6Cu - 0.23Cr 7075: (-T6 Sheet, -T651 Plate) Solution and Precipitation Heat Treated (Composition similar to UNS A97075) RATIONALE AMS4045L replaced AS1990 with ANSI H35.1 (3.2), revised Properties (3.3.3), deleted the wei
6、ght restriction on ultrasonic inspection (3.4), revised Reports (4.4.1), and is a Five Year Review and update of this specification. 1. SCOPE 1.1 Form This specification covers an aluminum alloy in the form of sheet and plate 0.008 to 4.000 inches, incl (0.20. to 101.6 mm, incl) in thickness (see 8.
7、4). 1.2 Application These products have been used typically for structural components, including machined parts subject to excessive warpage during machining, but usage is not limited to such applications. 1.2.1 Certain design and processing procedures may cause these products to become susceptible
8、to stress-corrosion cracking; ARP823 recommends practices to minimize such conditions. 2. APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS The issue of the following documents in effect on the date of the purchase order forms a part of this specification to the extent specified herein. The supplier may work to a subsequent rev

16、.1 Sheet Solution and precipitation heat treated to temper T6 (see ANSI H35.1/H35.1M). 3.2.2 Plate Solution heat treated, stretched to produce a nominal permanent set of 2% but not less than 1-1/2% nor more than 3%, and precipitation heat treated to temper T651 (see ANSI H35.1/H35.1M). 3.2.2.1 Plate
17、 shall receive no further straightening operations after stretching. 3.3 Properties The product shall conform to the following requirements, determined in accordance with AMS2355 on the mill produced size: 3.3.1 Tensile Properties Shall be as specified in Table 2 and 3.3.1.1.
