Make test specimens in the presence of the Contractin

43、g Officer and test by an approved testing laboratory at the Contractors expense.Certify welder qualification by tests in accordance with AWS D1.1/D1.1M, or under an equivalent approved qualification test. In addition, perform tests on test pieces in positions and with clearances equivalent to those

44、actually encountered. If a test weld fails to meet requirements, ensure that an immediate retest of two test welds and each test weld is made and passes.
