To reduce the consumption of sacrificial anode
12、s, the exterior surfaces of submerged steel can be coated with protective coatings before their subsea installation, and the coatings are not expected to be repaired afterwards. The purpose of this standard is to specify test methods to evaluate coating systems for seawater immersion services. This
13、standard is intended for use by facility owners and coatings manufacturers. This standard test method was prepared by NACE Task Group (TG) 264 on Offshore Exterior Submerged Coatings: Standard Test Method. This TG is administered by Specific Technology Group (STG) 03 on Coatings and Linings, Protect
14、ive: Immersion and Buried Service. It is also sponsored by STG 33 on Oil and Gas Production-Nonmetallics and Wear Coatings (Metallic). This standard is issued by NACE International under the auspices of STG 03. In NACE standards, the terms shall, must, should, and may are used in accordance with the
