APPLICATION: This specification was released initially for material used as a cover laminate on package tray boards. The color and durab

3、ility properties of this material shall meet the requirements of the painted board to which it is laminated. 3. REQUIREMENTS: Material specification requirements are to be used for initial qualification of materials. 3.1 QUALITY SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS Material suppliers and part producers must conform

4、to the Companys Quality System Requirements. 3.2 CONDITIONING AND TEST CONDITIONS All test values indicated herein are based on material conditioned in a controlled atmosphere of 23 +/- 2 C and 50 +/- 5 % relative humidity for not less than 24 h prior to testing and tested under the same conditions

7、 Safety Standard No. 302, the materials, portions of components, and composites shall not burn, or transmit a flame across its surface, at a rate of more than 4 in (101 mm) per min. To demonstrate compliance, the sample size and method of testing shall be in accordance with FLTM BN 24-2. 3.8.2 Perfo

8、rmance - Environmental Aging All materials, portions of components, and composites defined by this specification that have not been treated, modified or reformulated and exceed a max burn rate of 3.0 in (76 mm)per min as specified by the Flammability Lot Sampling Plan of FLTM BN 24-2, must be evalua

9、ted for permanency of the materials flame retardant properties per ESB-M25P3-A according to the accelerated environmental aging requirements applicable to the basic material category of this particular specification. Any material, portions of components, and composites defined by this specification

10、that have been treated, modified or reformulated to conform to Flammability Lot Sampling Plan of FLTM BN 24-2, regardless of max burn rate, must be evaluated for both permanency of materials flame retardant properties and changes in mechanical, chemical and physical properties per ESB-M25P3-A applic

11、able to the basic materials category of this particular specification. 12、comply with requirements of ES-E97B-11014-AA. 3.9 TENSILE STRENGTH, min (ASTM D 1682, Grab Method) Wales 25 lb (111 N) Course 20 lb (89 N) 3.10 SUPPLIERS RESPONSIBILITY All materials supplied to this specification must be equivalent in all characteristics to the material upon which approval was orig

13、inally granted. Prior to making any changes to the material originally approved under this specification, whether or not such changes affect the materials ability to meet the specification requirements, the Supplier shall notify the affected Purchasing, and Materials Engineering activities (with rea

14、sons) of the proposed changes. Upon notification of the Company, further instructions will be provided. Note: Suppliers should be prepared to provide test data and samples demonstrating compliance to this specification, if requested. Substance restrictions imposed by regulations or Company direction

15、 applies to the materials addressed by this document. The restrictions are identified in Restricted Substance Management Standard WSS-M99P9999-A1. 4. APPROVAL OF SUPPLIERS Materials defined by this specification for direct supply to the Company must have prior approval. Certain materials subcontract

16、ed by part suppliers may also require prior approval. These include materials critical to the Companys business for regulatory, safety, environmental or compatibility requirements or contractual agreements. Suppliers desiring approval of their materials shall first obtain an expression of interest f

17、rom Purchasing, Design or Materials Engineering activity. Upon request, the Supplier shall submit a completed copy of their laboratory test reports, signed by a qualified and authorized representative of the test facility, demonstrating full compliance with all the requirements of this specification.
