It was derived by that organization from IEC Publication 60730-1 (1993) second edition including its amendment 1:1994 and amendment A2:1997, which has the same title as the European Standard. The start and finish of text introduced or altered by amendment

This British Standard partly supersedes BS EN 60730-1:1992 (which is the English language version of EN 60730-1:1991) and its amendments. However, it will be possible to withdraw BS EN 60730-1:1992 only

15、 when all the subordinate Parts which are used in conjunction with it have been withdrawn. This will follow a parallel arrangement in CENELEC. From 1 January 1997, all IEC publications have the number 60000 added to the old number. For instance, IEC 27-1 has been renumbered as IEC 60027-1. For a per

16、iod of time during the change over from one numbering system to the other, publications may contain identifiers from both systems. 31、It is the endorsement of IEC 730-1:1993 with the necessary common modifications and is the editorial result of the combined texts of EN 60730-1:1991 and its amendments A1:1991, A11:1991, A12:1993 and A2, ratified at 75 BT, together with the corrigendum which was published in November 1993. It also i

32、ncludes the texts of prA3 and prA4 to EN 60730-1 which were proposed for ratification at 80 BT. The text of the draft was approved by CENELEC as EN 60730-1 on 1994-07-05. The following dates were fixed: This European Standard replaces EN 60730-1:1991 and its amendments. However, EN 60730-1:1991 rema

33、ins valid until all the part 2s which are used in conjunction with it have been withdrawn. No date of withdrawal of conflicting national standards (dow) has therefore been fixed. This Part 1 is to be used in conjunction with the appropriate Part 2 for a particular type of control, or for controls fo

34、r particular applications. This Part 1 may also be applied, so far as reasonable, to controls not mentioned in a Part 2, and to controls designed on new principles, in which case additional requirements may be necessary. Sub-clauses which are in addition to those in the IEC 730-1 are numbered 101, 1

The text of the draft was submitted to the Unique Acceptance Procedure and was approved by CENELEC as amendment A11 to EN 60730-1:1995 on 1995-09-20. At the Stockholm meeting of CLC/TC 72 on 4 and 5 May 1994 it was considered that amendments were r

38、equired to Clauses H.26.11 and H.26.12 in order to satisfy the EMC immunity requirements for the EMC Directive 89/336/EEC. This document modifies the corresponding clauses of EN 60730-1:1995. The text of the draft was submitted to the Unique Acceptance Procedure and was approved by CENELEC as amendment A12 to EN 60730-1:1995 on 1995-11-28. The background to this amendment is that subclause 21.2.3 refers to categories of the whole

40、control but, for the higher categories, the tests are considered to be unnecessary for parts carrying only a low current. This document modifies the corresponding clause of EN 60730-1:1995.
