This comercial item description covers requirements for glass graduated cylinders, suitable for laborator

Salient characteristics: Graduated cylinders shall be in the following styles: Style I (with pour-out lip), Style II (with standard-taper, stopper) and Style III (with pour-out lip and reinforced top). having specif-led capacities and suitable for use in pharmacies and 1 aboratori es. Sh

3、all be cy1 indri cal , graduated cy1 i nders with hexagonal supporting base, Shall be fabricated of borosilicate glass conforming to ASTM Standard E-438, Standard Specification for Glasses in Laboratory Apparatus. Shall be permanently and legibly calibrated in accordance with NBS Circular 602, Testi

4、ng of Glass Vol umetric Apparatus. Main graduations shall be suitably inscribed in Arabic Flumeral s. Shall be calibrated and marked as follows: To Deliver (TD) Q 2OoC. To Contain (TC) (a 20 C. Where standard is referenced herein, the issue of that standard in effect on the date of solicitation shall be used

The contractor shall certify that the product offered meets the salient characteristics of the description and conforms to the producers own drawi ngs , speci f i cati ons , standards and qual i ty assurance practices and is

8、 the same product offered for sale in the commercial rnarket- place. The Government reserves the right to require proof of such conformance prior to first delivery and thereafter as may be otherwise provided for under the provisions of the contract. Regulatory requirements. The offeror/contractor sh

9、all comply, and be responsible for compliance by their subcontractors/suppliers, with the requirements of the- Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act and regulations promulgated thereunder, and the requirements of al 1 other applicable Federal and State statutes and regulations. Recovered materials. Of

10、ferors/contractors are encouraged to use recovered material in accordance with Public Law 94-580 to the maximum extent practical. Preservati on, packagi ng and packi ng. Un1 ess otherwise speci fi ed, preservati on, packaging, and packing shall be to a degree of protection to preclude damage to cont

11、ainers and/or contents thereof, under normal shipping conditions, handling, etc., involving shipment from the supply source to the receiving activity, plus reshipment from the receiving activity, and conforms to applicable carriers ru1 es and regul at ions.
