In respect of circular projections, IS0 8167 is identical to DIN 8519, but as regards elongated and annular projections, DIN 8519 continues to be applicable. Standard referred to

The result was positive and the standard is now adopted as a European Standard. In the countries bound to implement this Europ

12、ean Standard, a national standard identical to this European Standard shall be published, and conflicting national standards withdrawn, by 1992-1 1-30 at the latest. In accordance with the CENKENELEC Internal Regulations, the following countries are bound to implement this European Standard: Austria

14、difi- cation. 1 Scope Page 3 EN 28 167 : 1992 60 This International Standard specifies the characteristics and dimensions of projections for resistance welding; it also includes the appropriate design and dimensions for tools (see annex BI. The projections may be used on either hot-rolled or cold-ro

15、lled, uncoated mild steel, of conventional welding quaiity and up to 3 mrn thick, as single projections, in multiples or as a group of multiples. 2 Normative reference The following standard contains provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this International Standa

16、rd. At the time of publication, the edition indicated was valid. All standards are subject to revision, and parties to agreements based on this International Standard are encwrag- ed to investigate the possibility of applying the most recent edi- tion of the standard indicated below. The tolerance on the projection diameter, d, shall be
