15、ratorymethodoftestwhichgivesabasisforassessingtheeffectivenessofa woodpreservative,whenappliedmainlyasasurfacetreatment,againstbasidiomycetesfungi.Incontrastthe methodfordeterminingthetoxicvaluesagainstwoodrottingfungi(EN113)providesameanofdeterminingthe loadingatwhichimpregnatedwoodofasusceptiblesp

16、eciescanberegardedasadequatelyprotectedunderthe testconditions. Thislaboratorymethodprovidesonecriterionbywhichtheeffectivenessofaproductcanbeassessed.Inmaking thisassessmentthemethodsbywhichthepreservativemaybeappliedshouldbetakenintoaccount.Itisalso recommendedthatresultsfromthistestshouldbesupple
