20、helanguage(s)ofthecountrywheretheLPGsystemissold. 5 Contentsoftheusermanual 5.1 Technicalspecifications Theusermanualshallcontainatleastthefollowing: a) adescriptionofthesystemandthemaincomponents; b) adescriptionofthefuelforwhichtheLPGsystemisdesigned; c) thenecessaryinformationaboutrunninginandtun

21、ingofthesystem. 5.2 Safetyinstructions Theusermanualshallincludesectionsonthefollowing: a) instructionsforcorrectuseofthesystem; b)dangers of misuse; c) actionstobetakenintheeventofagasleak; d) adverseeffectsofextremeambientconditionssuchashumidityandtemperature; e) nationalregulationsforparking,mai

22、ntenanceandreapproval. 5.3 OperationoftheLPGsystem 5.3.1 FillingoftheLPGcontainer TheusermanualshallincludetheprocedureforfillingtheLPGcontainer. Particularattentionshallbepaidtotheimportanceofthemaximumfillinglevelof80%ofthetotalvolumeofthe containerinstalledinthevehicle. 5.3.2 Switchoverprocedure

23、Whenthevehicleisdualfuelled,theusermanualshalldescribethecorrectmethodofswitchingoverfromonefuel totheother. 5.3.3 Opening/closingofmanualvalveswhenfitted Theusermanualshallindicatetheproceduretooperatethemanualvalves. NOTE ThisisparticularlyimportantformaintenanceoftheLPGsystem. 5.3.4 Levelindicato

24、r Theusermanualshallgiveinformationonthelocationofthelevelindicator,forexampleonthedashboardoron thetank.Thereadoutshallbeexplainedwithparticularattentiontothe80%fillinglevel.EN13856:2002(E) 5 5.4Maintenance Theusermanualshallstatethefrequencyandtypeofmaintenancetobecarriedout,itshallalsostatethata

25、competentpersonshallcarryoutthemaintenance. Theusermanualshallindicateproperprocedurestobefollowedwhenavehicleisrepaintedandputinahot painting/dryingbooth. 5.5 Defectsandrepair Theusermanualshallindicatewhichactionsshallbetakeninthecaseofadefectand/orwhenarepairoffaulty componentsoftheLPGsystemisreq
