20、port the mechanization implementation of the following OBF issues: Issue Numbers 3519, 3529, 3533, 3535, and 3540 The following OBF Issues went into Final Closure; however, they have no impact on mechanization on the record layouts/rules defined within this document: Issue Numbers 3530, 3531, 3532,
21、3537, 3538, 3539, and 3541 Issue 3491 went into Closure discontinuing the use of Access Service Request (ASR) Mechanized Interface Specifications ATIS-0404100. This will sunset effective December 31, 2016 MECH SPEC will no longer be supported as a transmission method for ASRs. ASOG 53 will be the la
22、st release with MECH SPEC documentation. All future transmission of ASRs will be transmitted via UOM as of January 1, 2017. DLRs are not impacted by this Issue. The recommended transition strategy from MECH SPEC to an alternate method is as follows: Effective January 1, 2017 the only accepted standa
23、rdized industry transmission method between a Customer and a Provider is a UOM based transaction as batch transactions are no longer accepted. o This is inclusive of all pending requests and response transactions. Customer/Provider negotiations may occur to address specific situations outside the sp
24、ecific recommendations. Any customer needing to convert to UOM must work with their providers to create a schedule of implementation by July 1, 2016.
