REQUIRESIENTS 3.1 Material and components. 3.1.1 Material. All material cited on D

7、rawing D13-25-70 or on the subsidiary drawings shall conform to the specifications listed thereon or to the spectfic characteristics set forth on the drawings. 3.1.2 Cmponents. All components of the grenade shall conform to the specifications and drawings lisked on Drawing D13-25-70 and subsidiary d

8、rawings. 3.1.3 CS riot mixture. (a) Volatile content. Volatile content of the final mix (when loaded into the munition) shall not be more than 0.5 percent by weight when tested as specified in 4.4.4.i(a) (see 6.4). 11、ble functioning of the fuze to first smoke emission under pressure shall be no less than 0.5 seconds and no more than 4.0 seconds. on the ground. The grenade shall not have any evidence of leakage after water immersion and shall conform to the requirements of 3.3 when tested as specified in 4.4.4.2, 3.5 Preproduction. Prior to the start of regular production, a pre- production lot of grenades s

The supplier shall provide objective evi- dence acceptable to the contracting officer that the requirements of 3.1 and section 5 for which specific inspection has not been provided in this specification have been satisfied.

18、ction, 4.3.3 Lot. - A preproduction lot of 250 grenades shall be produced using the same methods, materials, equipment and processes as will be used during regular production . 4.3.2 Inspection. procedure. 4.3.2.1 For examination and tests. The grenades and components shall be randomly sampled and i

PREPARATION FOR DELIVERY 5.1 Packaging, level A. Four grenades shall be packag

21、ed in a two-section foamed plastic container conforming to Drawing D13-25-81. shall be secured together with two bands of 3/4-inch-wide pressure-sensitive tape conforming to PPP-T-97, type I applied girthwise in the provided grooves. The container shall then be placed within a barrier bag measuring

22、i5 inches wide by i5 inches long, conforming to type I, Class E, style I of MIL-B-117, in accordance with method lX-8 of MIL-P-I., except that the backing material shall be spunbonded polyolefin or nylon. The barrier bag shall be closed by heat sealing and evacuating the included air volume within t

23、he sealed bag sufficiently to conform to the bagged item. The barrier bag shall be sub- sequently tested for leakage in accordance with the leak test requirements The two sections of MIL-P-116. 5.2 Paoking, level A. Five packages of grenade (20 grenades) packaged in accordance with 5.1 shall be pack

24、ed in an overseas type or Class box conforming to PPP-B-601, PPP-B-621 or type I, Class 2, Grade A of MIL-B-46506, &side dimensions of the box in inches shall be approximately 22 3/4 long by 8 3/4 wide by 9 deep. thereof, shall be immersed for a minimum of one minute in wood preservative conforming
