The recorded level shall be approximately maximum output level. The reproduced voltage U, shall be m

25、easured. The tape under test shall then be erased by the erasing head, without any bias current in the record head. The erasing current through the coils of the erasing head for the tape under test has a 10 % higher value than the erasing current which gives an erasing effect of 70 dB for the specif

26、ied reference tape. The erasing frequency shall be equal to or higher than 80 kHz. 3.8 Erasing attenuation The erased section of the tape shall be reproduced immediately, and the residual output voltage U2 is measured via a narrow-band filter to prevent errors due to noise. 315 - A A 1 O00 A B B Res
