ESSENTIN, PROJECT SPEClFlCATION CLAUSES Set out suitable clauses in Portion 2 of the project specificat.ion to provide essential in

7、formation as follows : a) (Subclause 8.1.3.1) Where an office and facilities are required for the engineer, set out the requirements in a suitable project specification clause. (See SABS 1200 AB) and Sections AB of Part 2 and Part 3 of the code. ) b) (Subclause 8.2.2) State the cont-ract pricc adjus

8、tment. formula that will be applicable if the formula and conditions given are not acceptable. (Sec also Subclause 1.2.1 of Section All of Part 3 of the code.) ESSENTIAL DATA The availability of certain essential data may affect the prices tendered. Except where such data have been given in the sche

9、dule or on the tender drawings, set out suitable clauses covering items such as the following in Portion 2 of the project specification: a) (Subclause 6.2) Set out the details where another degree of accuracy is required (if not shown on the drawings). b) (Subclause 8.1.1) If any item in the schedul

10、e is not measured in accordance with Civil Engineerin uantities2) and this is not stated elsewhere (e.g. in Clause 8 of an applicable standardized specifi:ation or the preamble to the schedule), include a clause to state how t.he item has been measured. C) (Subclauses 8.1.3 and 8.2.4) Where no preli

11、ndrmry and general items are scheduled and the engineer requires that the contractors rates for the work items scheduled are to cover all costs of a prelimiiiary and general nature in addition to the cost of the operations specified for such items in SABS 1200 H3), include in the project specificati

Where it is necessary to amplify or otherwise to vary the terms of SABS 1200 All to render them suitable for use in projects to be carried out in particular locations or under particular circumstances, include in Portion 2 oi the project specification clauses dealing wit.11

15、matters other than those covered by Clauses 1 and 2 above. NORMAL PROJECTS NOTE: To meet requirements imposed by various norms of economic development, projects are classified as normal, prestige, subeconomic and labour-based projects (see Clause 4 of the Introduction to Part 3 of the code . Contrac

16、t for Fahrication and Delivery only. (See also Subclause 3.1 of Section HE of Part 2 of the code.) Where the contract-or is not required to carry out any work on the site of the works, i.e. where the contract covers only shop details, fabrication, assembly and the delivery of an assembled structure
