The material shall air-cure at ambient temperatures and attain the physical properties f?

A random sample of filled containers containing syntactic foam ingredients shall be taken from each lot in accordance with MIL-STD-105 at inspection level I and acceptab
19、le quality level = 2.5 parcent defective, to verify compli- ance with this specification in regard to fill, closure, marking, and other requirements not involving tests. and the closure, for evidence of leakage, and for unsatisfactory markings. Each sample filled container shall be weighed to determ
20、ine the amount of contents. Any containers in the sample having one or more defects, or under required fill, shall not be offered for delivery. If the number of defective containers in any sample exceeds the acceptance number of the appropriate sampling plan of MIL-STD-105, this shall be cause for r
21、ejection of the lot representea by the sample. Containers shall be examined for defects of construction of the container 4.5 Quality conformance tests. Quality conformance tests shall consist of the following tests: Examination of product for homogeneity (single pour only) (see 4.7.1). Density varia
22、tion (see 4.7.2.1). Density (see 4.7.2.2). Application life (see 4.7.3.2). Cure time (see 4.7.3.3). Compressive yield strength 0.2 percent offset dry and wet (see 4.7.4.1). Modulus of elasticity in compression (see 4.7.4.2). compression set (see 4.7.4.3). Water absorption (24-hour immersion only) (s
23、ee 4.7.4.5). impact resistance (see 4.7.4.4) . The test blocks, selected as specified in 4.3.2, shall be subjected separately to the above tests as specified under 4.7. If any test block fails one or more of these tests, the lot shall not be offered for delivery. 4.5.1 In addition, the product shall
24、 be subject to any of the other tests specified herein which the procuring activity considers necessary to determine conformance with the requirements of this specification. 4.6 Tect conditions. 4.6.1 Atmospheric test conditions.
