The requirement for acquiring the product describ

2、ed herein shall consist of this specification sheet and MIL-PRF-6855. REQUIREMENTS: Part numbers: Part numbers shall consist of the prefix M, specification number, specification sheet number, and a six-digit dash number assigned using tables I, II, III and IV herein, as shown in the following exampl

3、e: M 6855 / 2 -XX X X XX Prefix for Military Specification Specification Number Specification Sheet Number Two-Digit Classification Number (table I). One-Digit Thickness Letter (table II). One-Digit Length Number (table III). Two-Digit Width Number (table IV). Example: M6855/2-XXXXXX Dimensional tol

4、erances: Tolerances of MIL-PRF-6855, tables I and II, shall apply to strip width and thickness respectively. Tolerance for strip length shall be -0 percent, +3 percent of the specified length. Surface finish: All synthetic rubber strip surfaces shall be smooth and free from cloth imprint. VERIFICATI

5、ON: Inspection and test of synthetic rubber strips shall be in accordance with MIL-PRF-6855, Section 4, VERIFICATION.
