2、activity. 3.2.1 Nonstandard Parts and Materials Approval - Approval for the use of fianstandard parts and materials (including transistors and diodes) shall be obtained as outlined in Specification MIL-E-5400. 3.2.2 Microelectronic Modular Assemblies - When used, Microelectronic Modular Assemblies s
3、hall be described by a contractor procurement specification and must be approved by the procuring agency. Microelectronic Modular Assemblies (Microelec- tronic Circuits) (MICS) shall be contained within Maintenance Modules (for example, on printed circuit cards). The choice of Microelectronic Modula
4、r Assemblies shall be based on at least two sources of supply, which can be used interchangeably, 3.2.3 Modules, Maintenance - The electronic portions of the equipment shall be divided into maintenance modules (see Specification MIL-S-23603). Maintenance modules shall normally be considered repairab
5、le. 3.2.4 Microelectronic inter changeability - Microelectronic circuits (MICS) shall be interchangeable at the MIC level, or at the Maintenance module level whenapproved by the procuring activity (see 6.13). 3.3 Design and Construction - The equipment shall conform with all the applicable requireme
6、nts of Specification MIL-E-5400 for design, construction and workman- ship, except as otherwise specified herein. 3.3.1 Reliability - 3.3.1.1 CQerational Stability - The equipment shall operate with satisfactory performance, continuously or intermittently for a period of at least 1, O00 hours withou
7、t the necessity for readjustment of any controls which are inaccessiblelo the operator during normal use. 3.3.1.2 Operating Life - The equipment shall have totd operating life of 10,000 hours with reasonable servicing and replacement of parts, Parts requiring scheduled re- placement shall be specifi
8、ed by the contractor. 3,.3.J. 3 Reliability in Mean Time Between Failure (MTBFL - The equipment shall hav$ 2,000hours of mean (operating) time between failures when tested and accepted as outline under the requirements of 4.4.3. 3.3.3 Cabling and Connections - 3.3.3.1 Cables and Connectors - The equ

10、nt - For reordered equipment, interchangeability shall exist between uniti% and dl replaceable assemblies, subassemblies, and parts of a designated model of any previously manufactured equipment, supplied or designated by the procuring activity. 3.3.5 interference Control - The generation of radio i
11、nterference by the equip- ment and the vulnerability of the equipment to radio interference shall be controlled within the limits of Specification MIL-1-6181. 3.3.6 Maintenance Provisions and Field Testing - Provisions for maintenance shall be as specified in Specification MIL-E-5400. Specific test
12、points and test facilities shall be provided to the greatest extent practicable for ease ob field testing and maintenance. 3.3.7 Nomenclature and Nameplates - Nomenclature assignment and name- plate approval for equipment identification shall be in accordance with Specification MIL-N-18307. 3.3.8 no
13、rmal performance characteristics under standard conditions and for making laboratory bench tests. Standard Conditions - The following conditions shall be used to establish Temperature Room ambient (25 a5 OC) Altitude Normal ground Vibration None Humidity Room ambient up to 90% relative humidity Inpu
14、t power voltage 115 4.11 Programmer Reset - The programmer shall be reset by opening switch as identified in figure 1, The programmer can also be reset by grounding pin T of plug 255. 3.5 Detailed Requirements - 3e5.1 Programmer, Aircraft Weapons Release Set MX-7016 (*)/AWE-1 - The programmer shall
15、meet the following requirements: 3.5.1.1 Function - The Programmer is the unit of the system that contains all the electronic equipment to perform the releasing requirements of this specification under command from the weapon release switch, control and the stores information that may be available f
16、rom the aircraft weapon stations. Its package size shall enable it to operate from one to nine stores racks. This is accomplished by the proper addition of logic modules to the basic package. These logic modules are supplied as part of the system dependent,on the number of stations required to be se
17、rved. 3.5.1.2 Form Factor - The programmer shall conform to the dimensions and requirements shown in figure 2. 3e5.1.3 Weight - The weight of the basic one-station (center) programmer shall not exceed 8.4 pounds. 3.5.1.4 Contents - The programmer shall be composed of the following: (1) Logic Power S
18、upply - The logic power supply shall be operated from the aircraft 115-v, 400-Iiz or 28-vdc line. Its output shall provide all logic level voltages required by the system. (2) Station Transfer Logic - If the selected number of stores to be released exceeds the capacity of the highest priority statio
19、n or pair of stations selected, the system shall automatically change to the next lower priority ,ctation(s) selected and continue releasing stores until the select number of stores have been released. The stores transfer information shall be obtained from inputs as follows: (This equipment shall va

21、 is being carried, Each weapon station will have its own Individual line to the system in order to provide these signals. The removal of this ground, after it has been initially received, shall cause the system to change station as required by 3.5,1.4(2). (b) Fire Pulse Counters - The system shall p
22、rovide a fire pulse counter for each weapon station, If a rack is providing a multi- ple store (2 through 6 rounds) ground signal and the removal of this signal is not received by the time 6 fire pulses are counted, the fire pulse counter itself shall generate the station transfer signal, thereby ca
23、using the system to change stations to the next lowest priority station (s) selected. (c) Multiple Stores (7 or More Roundsl - The system shall receive an identification signal (a ground) when a rack with multiple etores (7 or more rounds) is being carried. Each weapon station will have its own indi
24、vidual line to the system in order to provide these signals. The removal of this ground, after it is initially received, shall cause the programmer, to change stations as required by 3.5.1.4 (2).
