1、A-A-710 May 7, 1981 COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION CHAIRS, EASY (RECLINERS) -The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this commercial item description in preference to Purchase Description FMSF 73-59. This cohnercial item description covers recliner chairs intended for use in livin

2、g quarters and lounge areas. Salient characteristics: These characteristics concisely describe the essential physical and functionallperformance Types : I - Rocker recliner, closed arms. II - Wall recliner, closed arms. characteristics of the comercially available i tem. Styles: A - Contemporary. B

3、- Traditional. Mechanisms. Rocker recliner, three-way, extendable foot-rest, seat and back recline independently. Three positions; rocking, intermediate TV, and fully reclined. Artificial leather (expanded) shall conform to Federal Specification CCC-A-680, class 2, with treatments (a)(l) regular fire resistance. Upholstery Fabric Standard prepared by

5、the Joint Industry Fabric Standards Comi ttee. shall be flat woven, category I: household applications. Cloth fabric shall conform to the Woven The fabric heavy duty (minimum 15,000 cycles abrasion); normal, in-use, Identification label, The identification label shall have the contractors name or tr

6、ademark, contract or order number, and the month and year of manufacture legibly marked in apermanent dark ink. The label shall be affixed to the bottom of the chair and shall not be removable by hand without defacement. Workmanship. The uDholsering, tailoring, frame construction, and mechanism. sha

7、ll be of the quality to produce finished chairs acceptable in appearance, function, and serviceability and to prevent potential hazard to personnel or their clothing. Performance. Each chair shall comply with the following requirements. Failure to meet these requirements shall be cause for rejection

The shipping container shall be in compliance with National Motor Freight Classification and Uniform Freight Classification, Shipping containers shall be marked as specified in the contract or order: Note: Purchasers should specify the type and style of
