This commercial item description covers one and two ply 1 Classification. Type 1 - ply toilet tissue 2 - 2 ply toilet tissue 3 - 1 ply, unbleached to

3、ilet tissue 2 Salient Characteristic. Toilet tissues shall be wound evenly on a round paperboard core, made from fibrous, cellulosic material (see 5) and meet the requirements of Table 1, below. 19、tract or order. Level A - Packaging: Each roll of toilet paper shall be fully wrapped with closed ends. toilet paper against damage during shipment, handling and storage. Packing: (Navy Pack) - Forty-eight (48) rolls of toilet paper shall be packed in a close-fitting fiberboard boxes conforming to PPP-B- 1163, Style RSC, Type SWFCI, Grade 2

22、75. The rolls shall be arranged 6 x 4 x 2 or 4 x 3 x 4. The box shall be closed in accordance with PPP-B-636, para. 30.3.2.1.3 (Method V). Note: When the GSA contracting officer has determined that the required use of PPP-B-1163 boxes results in excessive bid prices or unduly restricts competition,

23、he may authorize the use of boxes conforming to PPP-B-636, Type CF, Class Weather-resistant, Variety SW, Grade V3c or W5c; or PPP-B-636, Type CF, Class Domestic, Variety SW, Grade 275 minimum. When Class Domestic boxes are used, each box shall be waterproofed with plastic shrink film. 4.2 Markina. M

24、arking shall be as specified in the contract or order. 5 Remlatory reauirements. For all types, the contractor shall certify that the product offered shall be made of 100% waste paper. The contractor shall also certify that Types 1 and 2 offered shall include a minimum of 20% postconsumer recovered

The government reserves the right to require proof of such conformance prior to first delivery and thereafter as may be otherwise provided for under the provisions of the contract . 6
