This test method shall be used to determine the compressibility of upholstery trim strips made principally from rubberized hair, rubberized coconut fibers etc. 2 References Note: Only the latest approved standards are applicable unless otherwise specified. 2.1 External Stan

Testing machine capable of measuring the compression force by use of a suitable co

5、mpression cage. The face of the lower plane pressure plate of the cage shall be larger than the test piece and the upper plate, which shall be parallel to the lower plate, shall be (120 1) mm square. The test machine shall be capable of maintaining the specified force for the specified period and sh

6、all measure such force to within 1 %. With the reference to this test method, the compressibility of trim strips shall be indicated as the range of values determined (min and max values) or as the individual value, in mm, rounded to the nearest 0.1 mm. 6 Safety This standard may involve hazardous materials, operations,
