It is Superceded for all future projects and replaced by GMW14472. 1. PURPOSE This standard specifies genera
3、l test conditions for luggage shade performance and durability as an extension of design drawing. 2. SCOPE This standard applies to passenger vehicle luggage shade. Vendor shall perform test according to this standard, secure approval and submit the result to GMDAT QA Team prior to shipping of teste
4、d items under this standard. For any unspecified items, decisions shall be based on consultation with related GMDAT department and inquire GMDAT Testing Team for any questions on this standard. 3. TEST ITEM PREPARATION 3.1. In case a test item is different from approved test items or when making a d
5、esign change different from this standard, all changes shall be notified to the customer. 3.2. Vendor shall review numerical measurement data and provide it to the customer. Vendor shall notify the customer of any discrepancy in such data. 3.3. Unless otherwise specified, test items shall be stored
6、in standard temperature and humidity condition (205, 6520%) prior to testing. 4. TEST EQUIPMENT 4.1. Jig or Buck for Trim installation 4.2. Air Pressure Cylinder or Motor and Control Box 4.3. Push-pull Gauge 4.4. Hot-cold Chamber 4.5. X-Y RECORDER or Plotter 4.6. U.T.M (Universal Test Machine) 4.7.
7、Steel Scale 4.8. Environment chamber that can maintain temperature 3 an
8、d humidity5%. 4.10. Cold chamber that can maintain temperature of -30 within variation range of 3K. 4.11. Incombustibility test equipment described in EDS-T-7602. 4.12. EDS-T-7694 Fogging Tester & Glossmeter 5. TEST METHOD & REQUIREMENTS All of the following detailed test requirements shall be satis
9、fied. 5.1. Test Preparation 5.1.1. Install luggage shade assy onto test jig in the same manner as in actual vehicle. 5.1.2. Operate luggage shade assy ten times prior to testing. 5.2. Extension Force 5.2.1. Test Method Use Push-Pull Gauge to measure the force at handle or shade center area along the
10、 operating direction over the entire interval (or design criteria interval) prior to installation on trim. (Refer to Figure 1.) Figure 1 5.2.2. Requirements Unless specified otherwise in the drawing, the extension force before and after durability test shall satisfy the following graph. EDS-T-4306TE

Test Method Use Push-pull Gauge to measure the load until the shade is separated along the Separation Mechanism. (Refer to Figure
12、2.) Figure 2 5.3.2. Requirements Unless specified otherwise in the drawing, the separation force shall be 50N maximum. 5.4. Install Force Test 5.4.1. Test Method Use the Push-Pull Gauge to measure the load until the shade is installed into install mechanism. (Refer to Figure 3.) EDS-T-4306TEST PROCE

Requirements Unless specified otherwise in the drawing, the install force shall be 30N at maximum. 5.5. BLIND PIPE-INSERT PAD Rigidity Test Test the followi
14、ng in case pipe or bar is inserted into Insert Pad. 5.5.1. Test Method With a blind pipe supported at both ends using jig fixtures, apply a concentrated load (P) of up to 200N at the mid position of SPL at the load speed of 10mm/min using a jig of width 5mm. 5.5.2.
