4、size - 1.35 yard or heavier. This is an 80 x 48sateen in 8.25 oz. (234 g.) to 8.50 oz. (241 g.) square yard ifpreshrunk only and not sized. Finished FR weight to be 9.0 oz.(255 g.) to 9.5 oz. Treated material shall not cause skin irritation orbe toxic to the wearer.4.4 FLAME RESISTANT - FLAME RETARDANT (FEDERAL TEST METHOD: 191:59

7、03):NOTE: Coverall material shall be treated with life of garment flameresistance process. Treated material shall not cause skinirritation or be toxic to the wearer. Material after the flameretardant treatment shall not become stiff or rough. Flameretardant treatment must be durable and last the nor

8、mal life of thegarment and shall not lose effectiveness after 25 industrial washcycles. Coveralls must be machine washed and tumble dryed. Use nochlorine bleach.4.5 CONSTRUCTION: Concealed fly front shall have six snap fasteners.One exposed fastener shall be at the lapel collar. Coveralls tohave two

MANUFACTURERS IDENTIFICATION: Each garment shall have a manufacturersidentification label located inside the back below the collar showingFord Standard number, garment number, date of manufacture, and the words“Flame Retardant“. This label shall

13、 be 1-1/8 inches (29mm) x 3-3/4inches (95mm) color orange with permanent black ink printed lettering andshall not discolor when laundered for life of garment. The flameretardant lettering shall be not less than 1/4 inch (6mm) in size. Thegarment size lettering shall be not less than 3/16 inch (5mm)

15、SE NO CHLORINE BLEACH6. SAMPLING PROCEDURE: A random sample of each lot of new garments shall beselected and forwarded to Central Laboratory Services for testing inaccordance with this standard. Failure of any sample or any test shallbe sufficient cause to reject the lot represented by the sample.Pe

16、riodically, a garment that has been used and washed many times will beselected and forwarded to Central Laboratory Services for testing.Failure to meet Paragraph 4.4 shall be sufficient reason for rejection ofthe manufacturer as a supplier. The laboratory reports will be forwardedto the Plant Engine

17、ering Evaluation and Standards Office, ManufacturingStaff, and Corporate Safety Manager, Personnel and Organization Staff.7. SUPPLIERS RESPONSIBILITY: All garments supplied to this standardmust be equivalent in all characteristics to the garments upon whichapproval was originally granted and shall b

18、e satisfactory for theintended application.8. APPROVAL OF THE NEW SUPPLIERS: Garments submitted by the newmanufacturers to this standard must have purchasing source approval andlaboratory and shop trials approvals. Recommendations for the additionof new manufacturers to the Manufacturing Approved So

19、urce List must bemade by the appropriate Division Standards Activity in writing to PlantEngineering Office. All supporting data must accompany the writtenrequest. The Plant Engineering Office, Manufacturing Staff, and theEnvironmental Health and Safety Manager, Employee Relations Staff, willreview r

20、equests for approval.9. PACKAGING INSTRUCTIONS: Garments shall be packed twenty-four (24) percarton, solid sizes. Each carton shall be labeled or stenciled at bothends with the following information:Sellers nameBlanket order numberRelease numberStandard or code number and sizeQuantity in pieces or pairsRequisitioners name and location9.1 CARTON SIZE: 21-3/4 inches (553mm) long x 14 inches (356mm) wide x26 inches (660mm) high.
